The Grey Mare and Her Colts :: podcast

grey3

Saturday 21st June 2014 [Summer Solstice] from 6pm

Working with students from Sir John Colfox School in Bridport, associate artist David Rogers curated an open studio event on Saturday 14th June 2014. The background track was mixed in the studio, from field recordings and dramatic actions, by two of the students. Associate artist Ralph Hoyte researched the Grey Mare stories and produced the narrative.

Ralph Hoyte muses on what is and what isn’t and what both is and isn’t poetry using his poetry as an example. A very personal view from a permanent outsider on the inside track with a contrarian twist and just a vague shimmering at the end of the poetic tunnel.  http://www.ralphhoyte.com

The combined tracks were mixed by David Rogers at DIVAcontemporary studio.
