satsymph app building sessions at DIVAcontemporary studio

Weekend WorkshopOn the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of November DIVAcontemporary studio hosted 2 app building sessions with satsymph. Saturday 1st saw composer Helen Ottaway and sound designer Alastair Goolden adapting their audio from ‘Lachrymae’, one of the Inside Out Ridgeway Responses commissions, for a geo-located app as part of the SDRLP project.

Sunday 2nd, artist Frances Aitken worked with the satsymph team, Marc Yeats, Ralph Hoyte and Phill Phelps to geo-locate sections from a long interview she had conducted with Steve Wallace, senior archaeologist, Dorset CC on location at The Hardy Monument.

On both days the artists and the team visited the sites and field tested the app.
